STATE NOTE. Results reflect the STAAR assessment administered in English to grades 3-8, accessed 6/16/26. "Proficiency" here includes students meeting or mastering grade level performance on the STAAR.
DISTRICT INCLUSION. Districts included in this figure are public non-charter regular school districts, as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Results are displayed only if all individual grade levels (between grades 3-8) did not have suppressed results (thus preventing accurate aggregation) or if the State Education Agency provided an aggregated district total for grades 3-8 .
