Top 20 states with the largest increases in planting diesel costs

Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota saw the largest total increases in diesel costs for planting corn, soybeans, spring wheat, cotton and rice between 2025 and 2026, according to a Joint Economic Committee Minority analysis.
