In the Status Quo scenario, methane reductions contribute 10 per cent of reductions required to reduce emissions in the sector to 110 Mt in 2030. Reductions in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases contribute 90 per cent. In the Deeper Methane Reductions scenario, methane reductions contribute 32 per cent and reductions in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases contribute 68 per cent.
