San Francisco metro division has the highest income required for a median-priced home, at $404,000 and a monthly mortgage payment of $10,108, since the median home price was $1.48 million in August 2023. It's followed by San Jose, with a required income of $402,000, Anaheim with $300,000, and Oakland with $250,000
