Note: This chart is based on the Conflict data compiled by ACLED. We filtered for all drone strikes, across all types of actors (states, militias, etc.) that resulted in at least one confirmed casualty. The figures are thus likely significantly underestimated. We chose this source because it is one of the most comprehensive. However, it is impossible to precisely count drone attacks and the number of resulting casualties. Other organizations publish their own tallies with widely varying results.
