Sunset Times on December 1 Under Permanent DST

The states that would have sunsets before 5 p.m. in early December, and those that would not.

Sunset times are based on state capitals and can vary within states.
Map reflects each state's primary time zone for simplicity. Several states span more than one time zone, including Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas.
In those areas, local communities would remain aligned with their current time zone and would observe the corresponding permanent daylight saving time offset for that zone.
