U.S. Counties With the Largest Population Declines

Philadelphia and Allegheny Counties were among the 10 U.S. counties with the largest population declines from 2021 to 2022. Among this group, Philadelphia's drop of 1.4% was surpassed on a percentage basis by three New York City counties: Queens, Kings (Brooklyn), and the Bronx.
