Racial breakdown of defendants in adult criminal cases with a jury trial hearing held in Ramsey County

Between 2013 and 2023, the number of white individuals that were defendants was similar to Black individuals early in the decade, with 37% in 2013 and 38% in 2014, but saw a gradual decline over the decade to 21% in 2022 and just 18% in 2023.
