Fresno Unified School Board doubles its pay amid deficit projections

Fresno Unified's trustees are now earning double what they were making last year, and more than five times what they made in 2020.

Trustees Andy Levine and Elizabeth Jonasson Rosas have opted out of the 2026 pay increase, which the Fresno Unified Board of Education approved in a 6-1 vote.
