Dorchester County proposes Delemar Highway expansion

Dorchester County officials are proposing an expansion to Delemar Highway that would see the rural roadway grow from two to five lanes with bike lanes, a sidewalk and a shared-use path running alongside it. The county-funded project covers the widening the section from Clay Field Trail to Clubhouse Road. Developers in the area are slated to fund the expansion between Ashley Ridge High School and Clay Field Trail.
