Several Opioid Settlement Councils Limit Public Attendance, Comment, and Access to Recordings

In at least 39 states and Washington, D.C., councils guide decisions on billions in opioid cash. As a general practice, four of those councils bar the public's attendance at their meetings; 10 more don't allow the public to comment at meetings; and the majority do not post video recordings of their meetings online.
