Models v. Actual COVID-19 Pandemic

Initial models by the University of Minnesota and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation missed the mark when it came to predicting COVID-19. Health officials said the models nonetheless improved, and that the U model was never intended as a forecast, but rather as a simulation of how interventions would slow viral spread.
