Georgia produced the most Power Five football players last season relative to its population

Three states in the Deep South -- Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi -- led the country in producing players for elite college football programs.

Maine and Vermont did not produce any Power Five players in 2023. The Power Five includes all schools in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, Pac-12 Conference and Southeastern Conference (SEC).
