What we can expect from the Yankees' bats

The chart below shows, for the nine active Yankees hitters with 100 or more plate appearances, their OPS through Wednesday's game with an arrow leading pointing to what the ZiPS projection system from Fangraphs expects that hitter to do the rest of the way.

According to the projections, Aaron Judge is the only Yankee hitter who is expected to be worse over the rest of the season than he has been to this point. Gleyber Torres, meanwhile, could be expected to post an OPS of .853 the rest of the way, even though he has just a .712 mark to this point.
