The Loop retail vacancy rate rose for the fourth year in a row in 2023 as foot traffic continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Note: Stone did not calculate a vacancy rate for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Stone didn't start tracking West Loop until 2006.
