What hospitals report giving back to the community

"Community benefit" spending by nonprofit, tax-exempt hospitals in the central San Joaquin Valley in the 2021-2022 tax year, as reported by each hospital to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.

Community benefit spending reportable to the U.S. Internal Revenue Services includes financial assistance provided to patients, the net cost of providing Medicaid care, net cost for other means-tested government programs, community health improvement and community benefit operations, health professions education, subsidized health services, research, cash and in-kind contributions, and community-building activities.
