Charges: Wilkes-Barre man tried building ‘Mother of Satan’ bombs

A man accused of attempting to possess weapons of mass destruction at his home at 222 Saint Clair Street in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre last year was arrested after researching bombmaking techniques and ordering items that are precursors for an explosive known as the “Mother of Satan,” according to a complaint that was recently unsealed.
