11 Minnesota agencies have received more than $1 million worth of equipment since 2015

Since 2015, the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office has received more than 2,800 surplus military items — from boots to an unmanned vehicle — worth $4.7 million. The Cottage Grove Police Department has received 4,320 items worth more than $3.9 million, including flashlights, duffel bags and a mine-resistant vehicle. Agency names appear as printed by the Defense Logistics Agency.

Some items may have been returned to the federal government or decommissioned.
