Total signatures verified for People Not Politicians' referendum petition on new Missouri congressional map

According to data submitted in a court filing, the number of signatures verified by local election authorities for People Not Politicians' referendum petition on Missouri's new congressional map is nearing the threshold for placement on the ballot. The group needed to collect signatures from at least 5% of voters in six of eight congressional districts in Missouri.

Around 7,500 signatures still need to be verified in the 7th Congressional District, according to a court filing submitted by People Not Politicians. The group said in court filings it expects to surpass the threshold in that district once all signatures are verified.
