Survey of 1,095 adults when answering the question "How much do you support requiring Medicaid or SNAP benefit recipients to show proof of work to receive benefits?" said "somewhat" or "strongly." Results are broken out by self-identified political affiliation with 80% of Republicans, 66% of independents, and 49% of Democrats in support. The survey was conducted May 12-15, 2023.
