Food accounts for more than 1/4 of global GHG emissions; 24% are from land use, 27% are from animal feed, 31% are from farming (methane from cattle's digestion, emissions from manure management and fuel for fishing) and 18% from supply chain which includes food processing, transport, packaging and retail.
