2022 MBA Pay: Consulting

Among the Class of 2022, MBAs averaged $150,000 or more at 29 business schools (with Vanderbilt Owen and BYU Marriott grads coming in at the $149K range). In fact, there were 43 business schools where graduates received $125K or more to start. That pack was led – not surprisingly – by Stanford GSB at $178,852. By the same token, MBAs at Chicago Booth, Northwestern Kellogg, and Dartmouth Tuck also cleared the $170K mark. Looking for an upstart in the field. Rice Jones, ranked 24th, generated the 11th-best base salaries ($166,646), while 40th-ranked Florida Warrington graduated MBAs who went on to collect $163K paychecks – better than 17 schools ranked above them. As a whole, there were 9 business schools where at least one graduate earned $200K in consulting.
