Where Workers Are Most Likely to Get Hurt on the Job
Data reflect nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses involving days away from work (DAFW) across major U.S. industries. Cases involving days away from work represent injuries severe enough to require at least one full day away from normal job duties. Data are from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII), the most comprehensive federal source of workplace injury data.
