Attendance of Rochester City Councilmembers

Absences among City Councilmembers have grown as a concern in the past year, particularly after 10 votes in July were stalled due to four missing members. This chart shows attendance and absences for every meeting, work session, or hearing Councilmembers were required to attend, beginning in January 2025 and ending in February 2026.

Councilmembers Kim Smith and Willie Lightfoot left office at the end of 2025. Chiara Smith and Lashunda Leslie-Smith took office in January 2026.
