Estimated NCAA Revenue Sharing (2025-2026) 

Starting in 2025, colleges can choose to share revenue with different athletic departments (i.e. pay the athletes directly). This chart shows the estimated revenue teams and athletes may receive. Football and men's basketball are the major revenue generators for colleges, so they will receive the lion's share. Baseball will receive a very small portion. The increased earning potential at the collegiate level is another reason why many young black men choose those two sports over baseball.

Discrepancies between total percentages and total average per team on the site is because not all colleges offer every sport listed on the original dataset. The average per team value pertains to colleges that offer that specific sport. The total value of $19,107,197 is for all Power conference schools.
Football and men's basketball would receive majority of the revenue sharing, assuming revenue sharing is 22% of the academic revenue budget.
