Restaurant Dive compared the price of Del Taco's Mucho Meals with the pre-tax subtotals of individual items at an arbitrarily selected Los Angeles Del Taco. To account for the size of churro orders, Restaurant Dive subtracted half the cost of a churro order from the individual items.
