Effects of message treatments on school response rates, charters vs. public schools

Notes: Charter schools that received standard emails with no signaling characteristics responded 54.8% of the time, and traditional public schools (TPS) responded 49.6% of the time. Data in the figure above show how responses differed from these baseline percentages. For charter schools, the bad behavior and IEP differences are statistically significant. For TPS, the bad behavior and bad grades differences are statistically significant.
