Identifying gifted and talented students in the US

The share children who attend schools that screen students to see if they are gifted and talented varies widely across the country. In states with an A, the percentage is 90% or more. In states with a failing grade (F), the percentage is below 60%.

Grades for states are based on data collected during the 2015-2016 school year.
