County-by-county Nebraska judges facing retention in 2026

Forty-eight Nebraska judges face an up-or-down vote this November on whether they can stay in office through 2032. This includes two judges statewide, who face an up-or-down retention vote in all 93 counties, and one Court of Appeals judge, who serves in part of Douglas County. All counties are divided into distinct judicial districts. The following represents boundaries for district courts. Nebraskans will see at least two judges and as many as 15 on their ballots.
