Pandemic Hate Incidents Against Asian Americans and Estimated Chronic Conditions

Note: Chronic conditions observed: cardiovascular conditions, respiratory conditions, pain-related conditions, and other. The number of chronic conditions associated with pandemic hate incidents is estimated using the total number of hate incidents reported by Stop AAPI Hate from March 19, 2020 to February 28, 2021, and regression coefficient estimates from Table 2 of Gee et al. (2007), assuming each hate incident reflects an increase in discrimination score by 1.
