The questions about the transition to negotiations in Levada-Centre ("In your opinion, should military operations be continued now or should peace talks be started?") and Russian Field ("In your opinion, should the 'military operation' on the territory of Ukraine be continued now or should peace talks be started?") sound almost identical. In the ExtremeScan variant it is, in fact, a different, tougher question ("If Vladimir Putin decides to withdraw Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine and starts truce talks without achieving his goals, will you support this decision?"), but for the purposes of our comparison of young and older ages this does not matter much. In the Levada-Centre polls, the "youngest" are the groups aged 18-24, and the "oldest" are 55+; in the ExtremeScan and Russian Field polls, these are the groups aged 18-29 and 60+, respectively.
