D.C.'s eviction rates surpassed pre-COVID rates for two years in a row

The FY2025 data currently available does not include the last two months of the fiscal year. In July and August, over 1,300 evictions were scheduled, according to documents from the Office of the Tenant Advocate (however, not all scheduled evictions are completed--Q1-Q3 of FY25 saw just over 50% of scheduled evictions executed).
