Figure 3.4.1 - Cities with the Most Pedestrian Deaths During the Last Decade

Over the last decade pedestrian fatalities have increased throughout the United States. In the year 2023, the ten cities highlighted in this figure for having the most pedestrian fatalities during the last decade accounted for 10.7% of all pedestrian fatalities in the United States. Among these large cities with high levels of pedestrian deaths, New York City is the only city to see a noticeable decrease in pedestrian deaths during this decade.
