Competition for squadrons

Four bases across the U.S. are under consideration for three new Air National Guard fighter jet squadrons.

All four sites are under consideration to receive one squadron of new F-35A fighters jets. All but NAS Lemoore are also being considered for new F-15EX fighters to replacing aging F-15C and F-15D aircratft.
