Sydney-Newcastle fast train 

Q: The federal and state governments are currently considering a plan for a fast rail link between Sydney and Newcastle, which may form the first part of a large fast train service for the east coast generally. This would provide an hour-long service between the two cities (currently it is 2.5-3 hours by train), with a single stop in the Central Coast, for an estimated cost of $31. It would achieve this largely through new tunnels at a cost of $61bn and be completed by 2042. Do you support or oppose this project going ahead?
