The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection notified L.B. Corp. of Lee on Jan. 6 that it is noncompliance with environmental laws. The DEP says the company does not have a required permit to recycle materials such as asphalt and concrete. Rather than seek a permit, the company's president said L.B. Corp. will move to another location.
