Change in immigrant population 2021 to 2022

The U.S. immigrant population grew by more than 900,000 between 2021 and 2022, with Florida, Georgia and Texas seeing the largest numeric increases. Drops in immigrant population were largest in California, Hawaii and Colorado, according to a Stateline analysis of American Community Survey data.
