Hospitalizations for COVID-19 spike in Texas

The number of people hospitalized in Texas for COVID-19 was relatively stable until early June. After the state's stay-at-home order expired, the governor allowed businesses to reopen in phases. Under Phase 3, restaurants could operate at 50% capacity starting June 3, rising to 75% on June 12. In late June, Texas halted further reopening and began pulling back.

More details on Texas' reopening plans are available from the state: Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3.
