Based on the most recent data (fiscal year 2024). States with payment error rates above 13.34 percent in fiscal year 2025 can qualify for an exemption until fiscal year 2029. Likewise, those exceeding the threshold in fiscal year 2026 can qualify for an exemption until fiscal year 2030.
