Mississippi whooping cough cases are at their highest in a decade

Pertussis, or whooping cough, cases in Mississippi are the highest they have been in at least a decade. This year, over 100 whooping cough cases have been reported to the Mississippi State Department of Health. Less than half as many were reported last year.
