Grant Township stands up to injection wells

Since 2013, Grant Township officials passed a community bill of rights and changed their government from a township to a municipality to push back against plans for a fracking injection well. The well is being plugged, but multiple court cases surrounding their fight, and their municipal charter, remain unresolved.
