Immunization Rates at Public and Private K-12 Schools in Milwaukee County for School Year 2023-2024

Under state law, school children are required to have received routine childhood vaccines that protect against such diseases as polio, whooping cough and measles; unless they obtain a waiver exempting them from requirements for one or more vaccines. This table shows immunization rates at each public and private K-12 school in Milwaukee County. For each school, it shows what percent of students were fully up-to-date on immunizations, were in the process of getting them, were behind schedule, were missing records or had waivers.

Schools that did not submit data to health departments or whose data contained discrepancies are not included. Schools and kindergartens with fewer than 10 students do not have data shown. The data include students in 3-year-old kindergarten, 4-year-old kindergarten and 5-year-old kindergarten. Students may have more than one type of waiver. Students are considered up-to-date if they have a record with the dates of immunization for every dose of vaccine required for their grade level. Students are considered in process if they are working toward meeting vaccine dose requirements. Students are considered behind schedule if they don't have every required vaccine, aren't in the process of getting the missing vaccine(s) and don't have a waiver for the vaccine(s).
