Percent Change in Turnout, 2024 Presidential to 2025 Gubernatorial

This graph compares turnout in the 2025 governor's race to the 2024 presidential election. It's normal for turnout to drop because more people vote in presidential elections than in off-year  gubernatorial races. But Republican turnout fell more than Democratic turnout in all types of counties across urban and rural areas.
