Emissions at Fortistar gas plant skyrocket after Digihost begins mining cryptocurrency

The chart below shows how many short tons, equivalent to 2,000 pounds, of carbon dioxide was emitted from the Fortistar power plant. Digihost acquired the plant in 2022 and uses it to power its cryptocurrency mining operations.
