Monthly 911 Calls From Immigration Detention Centers

Emergency dispatchers fielded hundreds of calls from facilities where ICE held immigrants in the last half of 2025. The South Texas ICE Processing Center in Pearsall had the most calls, with a peak of 34 in October.

Records obtained from the Miami Correctional Facility didn't distinguish whether the incidents involved people in immigration detention or prisoners.
