There does not seem to be a strong correlation between volume of articles outlining guidelines and describing the fall semester and percentage of positive cases on campus. Syracuse University, which posted the most updates about their fall reopening, had a relatively low percentage of positive cases throughout the semester. However, Stevens Institute of Technology posted a much lower amount of updates and has a similarly low percentage of positive cases. The University of Notre Dame and Baylor University had a similar number of articles about fall reopening as NYU and Northeastern University, but the former have much higher positive test percentages. This points to other factors influencing case counts on campus, beyond frequently reinforcing expectations and guidelines for students.
