Since 2013, CivicScience and Hamilton Place Strategies have collected approximately 15,000 monthly responses to five separate tracking questions. Each question contains optimistic, pessimistic and neutral response options. 46% of the respondents in the most recent bi-weekly HPS-Civic Science survey indicated that they felt “optimistic” when asked “How do you feel about your household income today?”, up slightly from June’s record low measurement.
