Ohio City Health Districts Serving Populations of <50,000

The budget passed by the Ohio House of Representatives includes a provision impacting cities with health departments that serve fewer than 50,000 local residents. If enacted, the below cities would be forced to conduct evaluations to see if merging with their respective county's health department is "advisable."

The population counts are 2019 estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. The budget provision, if enacted, would utilize figures from the completed 2020 Census.
