COVID-19 cases caused by variants in Florida

As of February 28, 599 cases of the 'UK variant', four cases of the P.1 variant and one case of the B.1.351 variant had been detected in Florida.

A very small percentage of COVID-19 samples are sequenced to detect mutations. Data is provided to the Herald by a Department of Health spokesperson.
