Grant distribution by seat marginality

A breakdown of MLCI grant value by who held a seat and by what margin heading into the 2025 federal election.

Seat marginality was determined using the Australian Electoral Commission's definitions of a safe (final count successful candidate above 60%), fairly safe (between 56-60%) and marginal (less than 56%). Three of the 226 grants were distributed evenly across two seats for the purposes of this analysis, where that project was located across two seats.
